Tim Burke is a member of the Farmington school board, elected to a four year term on Nov. 4, 2008 and seated on January 5, 2009. He is married to Patti, and they have two teenaged daughters who attend Farmington schools. They have in Farmington since September 2002.
Tim works for Allina Hospitals & Clinics as a public relations manager.
Before running for the school board, Tim served for four years on the City of Farmington Heritage Preservation Commission and for four months on the Farmington Planning Commission in 2007, appointed to fill a vacancy caused by resignation and serve out the remainder of the term. Before moving to Farmington, Tim served on the Grand Forks, North Dakota city council from 2000 to 2002.
