(Oct. 12, 2008) – Thought you should know that there’s a new blog out there called Tim Burke Watch. The tag line of the blog reads, “Uncovering the tricks, tactics and outright lies of Tim Burke.” Apparently, these guys are not fans. But, that’s just a guess.

You should read it. I just found it this afternoon and now I subscribe. The first post is dated Friday, Oct. 3, so it’s fairly new.

I’ll make a deal with those guys. They can identify my tricks, tactics and outright lies, and I’ll do the same for them. They’ve made four posts so far and I’m counting about eight factual errors right now. I’m waiting for my polygraph machine to come back from the shop to know if these are actual lies.

There are a couple of interesting revelations in these posts. For instance, some of what they think they know (but got completely wrong) could have only come from inside the school district central office or board members. Not surprising, and if they got the facts right, I wouldn’t care. I just wish I could get information as easily and as fast from the district as these guy seem to get it.

The blog owners identify themselves as Dan Privette, Tony Olson and Bryce Malone. Dan is a former Farmington school board member. Tony and Bryce I don’t know. Never met any of them that I know of.

I’ve got an idea for these guys. They should sponsor a candidates’ forum for the six school board candidates, since no one else is doing one, yet. Then they could ask all the candidates all the questions they want. I’d be game.
